Bloomington Porsche Club honorary member Eldon P. Slick of Tucson, AZ, and member, Bruce Loos of Roanoke, Indiana, will attend the Texas Mile speed trials at Goliad, Texas on October 16th-18th. Slick has entered his highly modified 1979 Turbo Porsche in the Street Speed Trial E class. The event is a one mile time trial held on a closed, 8000' long, airport runway. Slick, a veteran of many years of Top Alcohol drag racing, has also built several V-8 powered, 911/930 Porsches and raced in several Silver State Classic open road races.
